how to clean washing machine

In today’s article, I’m going to show you how to clean your washing machine!

So why do you clean your washer?

Well, a cleaner machine helps to fight off bad odors by removing any odors and buildup that have accumulated over time!

You should do this at least once a year.

What is the Cost of dry cleaning? This is a question that many people have. In general, dry cleaning costs depends on what clothes need to be laundered and the type of cleaner that is used in the process.

Now, to clean your washer, you can buy the commercially available washer cleaning products such as this one from Affresh.

But they cost a fortune!

This one being between 8 and 10 dollars!

And you can actually do so very easily yourself with common products that you probably have already at home! So I’ll show you how to do this the easy way!

So step #1, is to sprinkle two cups or one full box of plain baking soda directly into your washing machine FOR appliance repair Alpharetta.
So you pour that right in there. This works for front loading He washers as well as top loading washers.
You close your machine and you run it on the hottest and longest cycle that you can and let her rip!

So the baking soda is going to act as a mild scrubber and is going to help also remove any odors that might have accumulated over time.

So once that cycle is complete, step number 2, is to pour two cups of plain old white vinegar.

Optionally, you can add 5 to 10 drops of lavender essential oils into the mixture. And again, you open your washer and you just dump the mixture in the bottom, close it back up and run the longest and hottest cycle that you can.

And once again, just let her rip! This mixture is essentially going to help to disinfect your washer.

So there are many tips that I can give you to also help you improve your experience with your washer.

Tip number 1: would be to leave the door open any time you’re not using the washer and especially
after you’re done doing a load.

This way, you prevent any moisture from building up, and letting all that moisture evaporate. So another trick is to clean your dispenser trays.
So most dispenser trays are located at the top.

You simply remove them. So you take your dispenser tray and use hot and soapy water and a toothbrush and you can
scrub all the inner parts of that tray.

You put it right back and you enjoy!

On a front loading machine, make sure that you check the rubber seal at the front. You can open that and using again, hot soapy water and a toothbrush, just scrub the inner parts of that seal and it will help maintain
it as new.

The last tip is if you have a filter, usually located in the bottom, like on this washer, now you simply remove it and make sure you clean it every 6 months. There’s a lot of gunk that can accumulate there over time!

So you have to make sure everything is running nicely.

So that’s it guys!

You read how easy that was.

It costs you nothing and you already have all the products at home to do it.
So in the comments down below, let me know: have you ever cleaned your washer?
So that’s it for today guys! In the meantime, remember to keep it tight, keep it clean, and I’ll see you on the next one!!
