Moga: With no corona positive cases reported for 10 days in the district, the people of Moga, the district and health president are feeling relieved.
Besides this, the health department has taken samples of 149 suspects from different blocks of the district today. Some of the samples were taken from people suffering from TB, diabetes and high blood pressure, whose ability to fight physical illnesses has been reduced due to such side effects as a result of which, they suspect that they are at greater risk of catching the disease.
Although the situation in the district is fine now, Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Hans, SSP Harmanbir Singh Gill and Civil Surgeon Dr. Andesh Kang is not willing to take any risk in this matter, which is why precautions are being taken everywhere.
So far 3509 corona samples have been taken in the district
According to Andesh Kang, to date, the health department has collected samples for corona screening of 3509 suspects, including NRIs, pilgrims, migrants, staff, police personnel, and those suffering from TB, diabetes, and patients suffering from high blood pressure.
The authorities have taken samples of more than 149 people. About 24 of these people in the district are the people returning from abroad in recent days.
According to Dr. Kang, the samples taken today are from people belonging to different blocks of the district.
