Remember the days when disposable vapes were just a quick fix? They were simple and easy, but nothing to write home about. Fast forward to now, and it’s a whole different ball game.
The market’s always been flooded with options, but let’s face it, not all disposables are created equal. Some are hits (like Elf Bar or Lost Mary), others are misses.
We’ve been craving something more, something that really gets what we, as vapers, need. Could the new IVG 2400 be something like that?
Let’s look at our IVG 2400 Vape Review.
How is IVG 2400 Vape different from other disposables?
The real game changer for IVG2400 is the setup. While other TPD-compliant disposable vapes offer „only“ 600 puffs, IVG2400 offers four times more = 2400 (while staying TPD-compliant, as the manufacturer claims).
It’s because four two-milliliter cartridges are placed in one kit. Once the first pod runs out, you just lift and twist the top half of the device and switch to the different pod (you also have to lift and twist the mouthpiece as well).
You can switch to the same flavor – if you filled the kit with the same 4 flavors, or to the different flavor if you filled the pod with different flavors (from multiple kits).
This means, that if you buy for example 4 kits of different flavors, you can mix things up and you’re not stuck with just one flavor until it runs out – a huge plus in my book. The ability to switch flavors on the fly? That’s pretty sweet.
Of course, the battery life (1500mAh) comfortably allows you to finish all 4 pods before it dies, so you do not need to recharge in between.
What about IVG 2400 Flavours?
As Xmania mentioned in their review, the flavor variety is also big draw. Being able to switch between flavors keeps things interesting, and the taste?
Tropical Fruits, Fizzy Cherry, Lemon & Lime, Blackcurrant Lemonade, Blue Razz Cherry, Pineapple Ice, Strawberry Ice, Strawberry Watermelon.
Each of these flavors is a standout on its own. From the zesty tang of Lemon & Lime to the cool, refreshing taste of Pineapple Ice, there’s a flavor for every palate.
The Fizzy Cherry and Blue Razz Cherry bring a playful twist to the classic cherry taste, while Blackcurrant Lemonade offers a perfect blend of sweet and tart.
Strawberry lovers will enjoy Strawberry Ice and Strawberry Watermelon, offering a sweet, juicy vaping experience.
The variety ensures that vapers can switch things up whenever they want.
Pretty impressive and authentic range for a disposable (although Elf Bars are still my top for flavor authenticity).
A lot of puffs, great flavors, sufficient battery.. but it is bulky
But it’s not all roses.
The big downside is the size – which is obvious as it offers 4 times more puffs.
It’s bulkier than typical 600-puff disposable vapes (such as Elf Bar, Lost Mary, Crystal Bar…), so if you’re all about that discreet, pocket-friendly size, this might be a bit of a letdown.
Cost-wise, it’s more expensive than classic 600 puff disposables (approximately 2.5 times more expensive), but think about it – you’re essentially getting four vapes in one for 2.5 times of typical price.
That’s pretty good value for money, especially if you’re a frequent vaper.
But there’s a flip side to this.
With 2400 puffs at your disposal, there’s a potential downside that’s easy to overlook: you might end up vaping more than usual.
It’s a bit like having a larger pack of snacks – you might find yourself reaching for it more often simply because there’s more to consume. When you’re used to the lifespan of a 600-puff disposable, the IVG 2400’s extended capacity can subtly encourage more frequent use.
The elephant in the room
Now let’s talk about the elephant in the room – the environmental impact of disposables. Sure, the IVG 2400 makes strides by reducing the number of devices you’re tossing. It’s commendable, considering the sheer amount of waste disposables create.
But we’ve got to be real here – it’s still disposable.
The fact that you’re disposing of one device instead of four is a step in the right direction. But it’s a small step. We’re still dealing with battery waste and plastic. It’s like choosing a less-sweetened soda – it’s slightly better, but it’s not water.
So, is the IVG 2400 an eco-warrior’s dream?
Not exactly.
But it does show that manufacturers are thinking about sustainability, even if it’s just baby steps. As a community, we should continue to push for more environmentally conscious options. Until then, the IVG 2400 is a slightly greener choice in a market that’s still figuring out how to be truly eco-friendly.
Summary of my IVG 2400 Review
To summarize my thoughts:
- Unlike standard 600-puff disposables, IVG 2400 offers four times more puffs (2400 in total), while remaining TPD compliant. It features four 2ml cartridges allowing flavor switching mid-use.
- IVG 2400 is approximately 2.5 times more expensive than classic disposables but offers better value as it’s equivalent to four individual disposable vapes.
- The larger puff count may lead to more frequent vaping, similar to consuming a larger pack of snacks.
- But let’s not overlook the criticism about its bulkiness and the fact that, despite being more eco-friendly than its counterparts, it’s still disposable at the end of the day.
- It’s ideal for those who crave variety and don’t mind the extra size.
- But if you’re looking for something rechargeable and even more eco-friendly, this might not be your endgame.
Conclusion
So, is the IVG 2400 better than standard disposables? In many ways, yes. But, it’s not without its quirks. The size might be a turn-off for some. It’s a trade-off, but for me, the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.
