All bets can go on to be classified as either an inside or outside bet. There’s no need to worry about keeping up with which type goes where, as the betting table will spell it out for you. You’ll usually find the inside bets within a grid of singular numbers on the centre of the table, whilst the outside bets can be found around the edges of the board.
Here’s a selection of inside bets you should expect to find:
- Straight Up – betting on single numbers
- Split – betting on two adjacent numbers
- Trio – a three number combination bet that includes a zero
- Street – a bet that involves a row of three numbers

- Even or Odd – bets on either all even numbers or all odd
